Deck the Halls

It’s Saturday morning and very soon Mrs. Johnson will be up. Before heading off to two home inspections (yes, people purchase homes in December), I’m going to help bring in all of the Christmas decorations from the shed. In so doing, I’ll be speaking Mrs. J’s “Love Language” (see yesterday’s blog “Open the Gift” for an explanation by clicking here). Once I get back, we’ll begin the process to “Deck the Halls” of the Johnson Manor.

Rekindle the Joy

Every time I walk into my favorite Starbucks coffeehouse, I am reminded right on their front door to “Rekindle the Joy.” I think this TRINSPIRATION™ phrase is timely. Having just gone through a bruising election season that was anything but joyful for either party, I for one am going to take this to heart and make every intention to “rekindle the joy” in my life on a variety of levels this holiday month.
