Return the Gift

Thursday, December 24, 2015 | Category: Holiday

On this day after Christmas, millions of people are rushing to the malls to "Return the Gift." Their reasons vary from it doesn't fit to I just don't like it. All month long we've been looking at "The Gift" we've been given and how to "Accept" it, "Protect it," and "Wrap it" among other things. Today let's look at how to "Return the Gift" to the Gift Giver. Paul writes in Romans 11:29 "The gifts and calling of God are irrevocable." In other words, once He gives them He doesn't take them back. So the way you "Return the Gift" on this day after Christmas is to start to "Develop the Gift," "Mature the Gift," and then "Release the Gift." After all, God has a no return policy on the gifts He gives so you need "Give the Gift" you've been given to others. And that's how you "Return the Gift."
